Connect an agent

Santa's Sack runs one connection point for ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. After you sign in with the email code you already use, you choose Santa's Sack, Gifts, or both. The agent can then read and update only the lists you allowed. It does not receive your browser sign-in cookie.

Grok has no public directory of third-party connectors. Use the custom address below in each app.

Gifts (https://gifts.santassack.app) does not host this connection. Sign-in, consent, and the server are all on santassack.app.

What you can allow

The consent screen is two checkboxes. Santa's Sack grants the sack scopes the app asked for. Gifts grants the gifts scopes the app asked for. Leaving both unchecked connects nothing. A write scope does not include reading.

  • sack:read — groups, your personal wishlist, draws, your own assignment, and the recipient wishlist for that assignment.
  • sack:write — create or rename a group, change your personal wishlist, and assign or unassign a wishlist item on a draw.
  • gifts:read — gift lists you own or belong to, with the reservation fields your role is allowed to see.
  • gifts:write — create or update a list, archive or restore it, change items, reserve, release, and mark bought.

openid, email, and offline_access are included only when the app asked for them and you accept at least one product. openid and email identify your account. They are not access to lists. offline_access lets the app refresh the connection after the 15-minute access token expires. The refresh token lasts 30 days and rotates when it is used.

The connector reads and updates lists you already have. It does not start or close a draw, send invitations, or create share links.

ChatGPT

  1. Turn on developer mode under Settings, if your workspace allows it.
  2. Add a connector and choose a public MCP endpoint.
  3. Enter https://santassack.app/mcp. Name it Santa's Sack.
  4. Sign in with your email code and choose Santa's Sack, Gifts, or both.

Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector.
  3. Remote MCP server URL: https://santassack.app/mcp.
  4. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detected. Use Claude's published identity or automatic registration. Leave a client secret blank.
  5. Finish the Santa's Sack consent screen.

On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner adds the same URL first under Organization settings, Connectors. Members then connect from Customize.

Grok

Add a custom connector. There is no Grok directory listing for this server.

  1. On grok.com, open Connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom, and enter https://santassack.app/mcp.
  2. Or, in the Grok CLI: grok mcp add --transport http santas-sack https://santassack.app/mcp
  3. Sign in on the same Santa's Sack consent screen.

Disconnect

Santa's Sack settings, Connected agents: /en/dashboard/settings#connected-agents. The same section exists in Polish, German, and Spanish. Revoke removes that app's access. Signing out of the website leaves the connection in place until you revoke it or delete the account. Gifts settings links to this same list.

Privacy and terms

The privacy policy describes what a connected agent can access, how long tokens last, how to revoke them, and that tool results are processed by the app you connected.
