Frequently Asked Questions

Find an answer and the next step for common situations in Santa's Sack.

How do I sign in with an email code?
Choose “Sign in”, enter your email address, and accept the required terms. Enter the 6-digit code from the message, then choose “Verify & Sign In” to continue to the app.
What if the message does not arrive or the code does not work?
Check your spam folder and make sure the email address is correct. Use the most recent code you received; if it has expired or is still rejected, return to the email step and request a new one.
How do I accept an invitation with the right account?
Open the invitation link and sign in with the same email address that received the invitation. After signing in, you will return to the invitation and can join the group.
What does an expired or already handled invitation mean?
That link can no longer be used. If you are not already in the group, ask its owner or an administrator to send a new invitation.
How many participants are needed for a draw?
The group needs at least two people. Wait for the invited person to join, then open the group and continue to create a draw.
Why can exclusions make a draw impossible?
Every participant must be assignable to someone else. If the exclusions block every valid pairing, remove some of them in the group settings and start the draw again.
What do the budget and draw dates mean?
The budget is the agreed amount for a gift. The assignment deadline marks when participants should add wishes and choose gifts, and the gift exchange date is when they plan to exchange them. Set both dates when creating the draw.
Where can I find my result and wish lists?
Open “Draws” and select a completed draw to see the person assigned to you. Their wishes appear with the result; add your own in “Wish List”.
